Well, tomorrow school resumes and test is coming in two weeks time.Unfinished homeworks left me with little time to prepare for the test.Blame myself for slacking too much.Argh!Hm,this short holidays will end in another 2 hours time.I've been looking forward to holidays where I can just sleep, rest and play! This is due to the SPM break that I've got.Couldnt overcome the enjoy syndrome yet.Haha.
Ryan will be leaving for Singapore next Wednesday while Mun will be going for NS on the same day too, making it a rather emotional week for most of us.Ryan led worship in both yf and church, stressing on God's faithfulness on both ocassions. It struck my mind that what Ryan said was very true, isnt it?In times of need, who do we look for?God of course but when things are bad,who do we curse?God too. This goes to show no matter what we do,God is still with us.
Many a times,we failed and we struggled but somehow we managed to pull through.Ever wonder why?I guess God's grace is the answer.God's faithfulness and love is just like our parents' where He will never ever give up on us.It's only we who choose to give up on Him.We never know what lies ahead and what tomorrow will brings, but if we commit and surrender to God,i believe he will guide us through.:)
Someones once said, without unhappiness we will not know what happiness is.It's rather true isnt it?In our search for happiness we always end up being frustrated and drained out.The book of Ecclesiastes wrote about how Solomon try to search for happiness but ended up being more unhappy and tired, until he acknowledged that God is the true source of happiness. It's like chasing after the wind,a never-ending race with no results if we try to pursue happiness on our own.
Life is all about being contented, isnt it?The world is certainly more beautiful when we are being content..:)

Standing In The Gap...
Hola everyone!I have just come back from a 4 days trip in Malacca.I felt so rejuvenated after this short break.I left for Malacca on Friday afternoon, following Jit's car to attend a concert held in Equatorial Hotel. The concert was superb. What's more amazing is it was organised by youth and several Christian teachers in Malacca.Their performance?Simply amazing! They totally just swept us off our feet with their songs!By the way,I went to the concert with Ryan,Tien Hui,Pekying and Priscilla.Jit brought us to eat Malacca's famous Baba Laksa and Cendol too.I tell you,Malacca is really a food haven, and they are not costly!
Well, next up was the camp held at El Sanctuary.I missed that place, especially the food. The environment is quiet and the air is so refreshing.Getting away from urban life once in awhile is not such a bad idea after all.Tien,Pekying and Pris did a great job organising the camp and the activities.Kudos to Cheng Yee too for being a good camp commandant. For those who don't know,EL Sanctuary is located at a place for Bukit Hantu.Cool, rite? We did the night trail too.I was the tail of the group, meaning I was the last guy in line, with over 50 people in front of me.Scary..woo~~
I wished to share what I learnt in the camp but just to keep you all visiting this blogsite,I will do it next time with pictures.Excited?Stay tune...

Life...and Death
It's been 8 days since I posted anything.Sorry for my absence.Been rather lazy and couldn't think of anything to post.My title sounds a little scary,I know but just for fun,I've decided to post a little thoughts on this. These 2 words are actually so contrasting yet at the same time, the same. Why?Many would welcome new life into this world yet very few would be thrilled at the thought of death. However,in Christian context we learnt tat WHEN YOU LEARN HOW TO DIE,YOU LEARN HOW TO LIVE.Irony hey?
I have many friends who were borned in this month, and thus making it a rather busy month for birthday celebrations.Someone once said,February babies are very special. The reason is because February is the month with the shortest span of days and it's the only month where you get an extra day once every four year.Valentine's Day falls on this month too,all the more making it such a lovely month, isn't it?
In CG,Jit gave us a task to write a "epideath" or something like that.We are supposed to write when we will pass on from this world, what do we want inscripted on our tombstones and our life verses from the bible.Sounds scary?Nah,not exactly. In fact, death is something that will come eventually for each and everyone of us,so why are we so afraid of it?As for myself,I am afraid of losing or being away from people I care for, that's why I fear death. That was in the past though.
Like I have said earlier,we learnt to live once we learnt to die in Christian context. It sounds funny, right? How can we possibly learn how to live when we are dead? This is because if we know when we are going to pass away or to put it simply, knowing our days is numbered,we will look at life in a very different perspective.Everything else just seem so minute and minimal, dont you agree? We should always live our lifes like tomorrow is the last, living every second of it to the fullest.I am pretty sure none of us want to leave this world with regrets, right?
In Psalms 39,David asked God to show him when he'll die.Shocking hey?Who on earth in the right state of mind would want to know when he will die? However, once we know that we will not take life for granted, wasting each and every day, thinking tomorrow will surely come.Human are being very greedy trying to prolong their own life with all sorts of ways.Shouldnt we be contented with the days the Lord has given us?:X
We are so eager chasing after so much that will fade into obscurity once we are death. Therefore,we should not put so much emphasy on all these.Another person has once said, when you do good and help others, your dreams will come to you. So,we should do good more and live for the Lord so as to when we passed on from this world,we would be able to say to ourselves "I have no regrets in life"..
So let's all learn to look at life and death the same. They are not that different after all..

Sports..Sports..SPORTS!!!

Sports' Day is officially over.It was held this afternoon and my sports house,Sulaiman won!!Yahoo! What a way to end my last Sports' Day in SMK Tinggi Kluang.I represented my house in running 200m,400m and tug-of-war.Though I won no honours for my house,I felt happy being able to represent my house after so many years.I always have a dream to run on the field for my house, but it never did come true during my secondary school days.I did, however won 2nd place for tug-of-war.My 2nd sporting honours, the 1st being champion in a school basketball competition years ago.It was really tiring but at the same time fun, especially when people were cheering for you.The feeling was just..indescribable!Haha.
Sports'Day this year was rather different, the crowd seems to be so much lesser compared to previous ones I had attended, still I would say this is one of the most memorable one.All in all,the credit goes to of course none other but God.I believe that without His help,I would not have pulled through all these events. It was also possible for me to achieve all these dreams I have had since I was in secondary school because of His grace.Truely, how great is our God!Jit came and watched me run, eventhough he left with a grin on his face,I think I have not disgrace myself an everyone who trusted and supported me.Hehe..
I took part in the Kluang Under-18 Open Basketball Competition too.Eventhough most of the time I was benched,I did learn alot from this competition and had a fun time with my team,RENGAM.They are really a bunch of really interesting individuals and nice teammates.I wished to upload some photos but my PC went into the hospital and thus making it impossible to show you any pictures as I am blogging from my sis's labtop. We managed to make it to the final 6 before being ousted by 2 very outstanding team. Many people would said that I HAVE LOSE IN ALMOST ALL THE EVENTS I PARTICIPATED but I somehow beg to difer.
"Winning doesnt always mean being first, winning means you're doing better than you've done before"--Bonnie Blair.
I have managed to do all these things, things that I can only dream of in the past. Therefore,IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.There's only one opponent in our lives, that is ourselves.I declare myself a winner, what about you?

CNY~
Did you have an enjoyable Chinese New Year?I did, eventhough it's still abit boring at times.Haha.Most of my relatives didn't come back so the ambience is a little peaceful and not the merry "feeL" you get.Well,I had a good time catching up with my seniors, some of whom I only meet once or twice a year. It's great seeing them again and went around with some of my school friends. All in all,it was quite a good time for some well-deserved break.I slept like nobody's business.Hehe..Well,back to school tomorrow.Wishing you all happy schooling and JIA YOU!
